Amidst cheers from crowds of students and supporters, Subair Enitan, a student of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State, has surpassed her 50-hour target to set Guinness World Records for longest manual washing time.
However, the 200-level Linguistics student has decided to raise the bar a bit higher by continuing in her attempt to set a world record tagged Wash-a-thon, despite hitting the target.
Enitan, who had notified Guinness World Records of her intention in June, embarked on wash-a-thon attempt on Friday, 24th November, at the school campus in Ile-Ife.
