Governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), in the forthcoming Osun governorship poll, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, has said that civil servants in the state would be paid full salaries as from December this year.
Adeoti said this while speaking in Ikirun, the headquarters of Ifelodun local government area at a rally held in the town by the party.
The former secretary to Osun state government also promised to cash-back promotion given to workers in the state by Governor Aregbesola’s administration few months ago starting from January next year.
He said, If elected, local artisans would be patronised, thus empowering them to expand their businesses.
“I will end capital flight. Osun’s resources will be used to develop the state. I know what the need of Osun people and we will do our best to ensure the state needs are met”, Adeoti concluded.
In his remarks, former Osun state Commissioner for Information and Strategy and a cheiftain of ADP, Chief Sunday Akere, urged members of ADP to embark on street campaign to get more people behind Adeoti.
