The residents of Egan in Igando area of Lagos were shocked after two women known to be ministers in the temple of God, set aside their Bibles and engaged two other women in a messy public fight.
The pastors reportedly tore their rival’s clothes and left them naked in public to the surprise of many present.
The incident happened at Palm Street off Oladajo Bus Stop along Isuti Road in Egan area of Igando, Lagos where they reside and where the church was located.
The two pastors, Prophetess Victoria Oyegbola and Abigail Shobayo have been arrested and charged before court for assault and remanded in prison custody.
The defendants were alleged to have attacked the two female complainants, Morenikeji Isaac and Olayeni Opeyemi in the public, tore their clothes and left them naked. It took the intervention of the neighbours around who reportedly provided clothes and rescued them from the attack of the defendants.

However, residents said that the victims were members of their church before they left for undisclosed reasons after knowing much about their church.
However, their action has landed them in prison after the police at Igando Division arrested and charged them before the Ejigbo Magistrates court for the alleged assault.
They pleaded guilty and theprosecutor, Mr. G. Simon, informed the court that the defendants were ministers as he did not oppose their bail.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. L.K.J. Layeni, granted them bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.
They were remanded in prison custody pending when they will perfect their bail condition.
