. Says injustice pushed him out of APC

Niyi Akande, Osogbo.

The governorship candidate of Action
Democratic Party (ADP), in Osun September 22 poll, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti promised to
ensure justice, fairness and equity in the running of the affairs of the state.

Addressing crowd of supporters that attended the party’s mega for Ife federal constituencies in Enuwa, Ile-Ife during the weekend, Adeoti said injustice and lack of fairplay was responsible for the defection of the greater percentage of members that dumped APC.

Adeoti queried: “if the present administration in the state is sincere about justice and equity, why is it now that the people of Iwo rejected them that they went there  to launch “Tradermoni”? Is it not because election is near that they realized they have to do something on Iwo roads?”

Promising to ensure prompt payment of civil servants salaries and pension to retirees, Adeoti said that a sound and
logical financial re-engineering would be deployed relying on the expertise of his team to salvage the chronic situation that the state found itself.

He also promised to engage the youths with gainful employment, just as he promised to encourage vocational educational and sporting activities at the grassroot level, for the state to produce stars like Brazil, England, who are big sporting nations.

According to him, priority attention would be given to farming to encourage
farmers realize their goals of sufficient food production, as well as, large scale mechanized/plantation agriculture for export to boost the revenue profile of the state.

Speaking earlier, Adeoti’s running mate, Prof. Adeolu Durotoye, implored the youths, women
and patriotic indigenes of Osun not to vote for those he referred to politicians that boasted that they are richer than the state.

Other prominent speakers at the rally include the football administrator veteran, Chief Adegboye Onigbinde, Hon. Sola Lawal,
Barr. Gbenga Awosode, Dr. Wale Bolorunduro, Prince Olakunle Aderemi, Oluomo Sunday Akere, among others.

All of them implored the electorates not to be deceived but use their PVC to effect the needed change in Osun politics on September 22.
