A 51-year resident of Osun State, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Gbemisola Ojo, has been allegedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen men in Osogbo.
Ojo, according to the state South West Security Network (Amotekun), was kidnapped at her residence around 10:30 pm on Friday, January 13th, 2023.
Amotekun Field Commander, Comrade Amitolu Shittu according to a post by the command spokesperson, Yusuf Idowu, received a distress call at around 1:15 am on Saturday from the victim’s husband Mr. Ojo Oluwasanmi Festus, a staff of NNPC Warri Depot on the disappearance of her wife.
He said the commandant, upon getting the call swift into action, adding that personnel of the corps are searching for the victim.
Amitolu assured residents of the state that the kidnapped victim will be rescued and the criminals who perpetrated the act will be brought to book.
