The management and staff of the Ministry of Environment and Sanitation in the state have been charged to be of good conduct by being punctual and diligent in their discharge to works.
The Commissioner for Environment and Sanitation, Hon. Sola Oladepo gave this charge while addressing the staff of the ministry at the Conference Room of the Ministry. Engr. Oladepo emphasized the need for staff to change their attitude to work, saying “hard work will be adequately rewarded while laziness will be totally condemned”.
According to him, government will do all within it’s power to create an enabling environment that will enhance productivity and better performance.
Also speaking, the Special Adviser of the Ministry, Hon. Rufus Oyegbile stressed the need for all officers in the ministry to have a good mindset. Hon Oyegbile implored officers to always respect constituted authority by following due process while discharging their duties.
He maintained that officers must be ready to work with or without supervision.
The duo were ushered into the Ministry with prayers and expression of love from the officers of the Ministry led by the permanent secretary Dr. Temitope Oladele.
