The Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has debunked the rumor that the governor of the state, Sen. Ademola Adeleke has left the state and handed over its affairs to his committees.
The caretaker chairman of the party in Osun Dr. Adekunle Akindele disclosed this while answering questions on the whereabouts of the governor.
It would be recalled that Osun Daily had earlier published a story where residents of the state, especially, members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, were asking about the whereabouts of the governor, saying he has not been seen in public occasions for some time.
According to Akindele, the governor is around and busy working on how to deliver the dividend of democracy to the people of the state.
He described the APC as bad losers, saying they are only jittery because most of their nefarious activities are being exposed daily.
He said; “They are bad losers. Why are you bothered about what they are saying? The governor is very much around, the committees are working. The opposition is only jittery because most of their irresponsive and nefarious activities are being exposed daily.
“The governor is not distracted, he is just busy working on how to deliver the dividend of democracy to our people. So, why are they worried?
