A resident of Osogbo, Mrs. Toyin Fadeyibi has raised alarm following strange and suspicious movement around house.
Mrs Fadeyibi, who spoke with Osun Daily from where she was hiding for the fear of attack, said she had also been receiving calls from strange numbers, telling her, she was being monitored.
Mrs. Fadeyibi’s husband, Dr Isaac Fadeyibi, an academic staff of Fountain University, Osogbo, had earlier petitioned Assistant Inspector General of Police and State Commissioner of Police over attacks on his house.
Mr. Fadeyibi, also in his petition, said a group Muslim Brotherhood had written threat letters to him, warning of impending attack on him and his family members unless he converts to Islam.
According to Mrs Fadeyibi, since her husband travelled out of the country, she had been seen strange faces around her house.
She added that whenever she had cause to go out, she observed some unknown faces often follow her, the development that had forced her into hiding.
Speaking to our correspondent, Mrs Fadeyibi said she had already reported the matter at Dada Estate Police Station, Osogbo, stressing that many strange faces have been lurking around her house.
“There was this particular day that I challenged one of those boys I saw around my house. It was getting dark and saw him walking aimlessly around the house.
“When I challenged him, he said he wanted to buy an item, no one sells in my neighborhood. Whenever I go out, some strange faces driving in a particular red colour car would be driving behind me.
“This situation is getting more serious. I can no longer go out. Even the kids, they could not move freely,” Mrs Fadeyibi said.
Urging security agents to treat her petition with urgency it deserves, Mrs Fadeyibi said she and her children presently live in fear.
