As Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II announced the arrival of a new queen, fresh facts have emerged on why the royal father settled for the new woman, over one year after his last marriage packed up.
Informed sources told this medium that the identity of the new Olori was kept secret from the public to protect her and the royal father.
“Baba settled for her because of many factors. She complements him well. She is homely and generous. She is the right woman for the Oduduwa throne.
“They have been seen each other for a long time. And on Thursday, introduction between the family of the bride and that of Oba Ogunwusi was held. With that done, she was brought to her husband same day,” a source close to the palace told Osun Daily.
Sources in Ile Oodua, Ooni’s palace told our correspondent that the Yeyelua was received into the palace with several propitations held by the priests.
The new queen’s name is Evangelist Naomi Oluwaseyi.
She is the Founder/President of En-Heralds – an interdenominal ministry based in Akure, Ondo state.
