•As VC urges staff attendance
The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilesa, Osun State, Prof. Taiwo Olufemi Asaolu, has announced an inter-religious prayer session and general staff meeting of the institution.
The Vice Chancellor noted that the prayer and meeting would be held tomorrow morning at the Multipurpose Hall of the University.
The Registrar of the University, Mr Funso Ojo, through a statement signed by Mr Babatunde Fanawopo
Senior Assistant Registrar (Corporate Service and Information Unit) noted that the essence of the event is to commit the University’s activities in the year 2026 to God and also to challenge members of staff to redouble their efforts for better productivity in the new year.
The statement further noted that Prof. Asaolu will lead every other member of the University community to the event.
The statement, however, enjoins all members of staff to attend as a matter of duty.
