An accused , Ibrahim Saheed, who was remanded after feigning madness last week and also urinated in the court , was on Tuesday re-arraigned at the Osogbo magistrate court for house breaking and stealing.
was arraigned on one count.
He was said to have broken the ceiling and entering the house of one Abdul Salam Tajudeen.
The police prosecutor, Elisha Olusegun said that Saheed committed the crime on the 24th of October, 2019 at about 2:10 am at Kinikun Street, Africa area, Osogbo, Saheed break into the ceiling and enter the dwelling house of one Abdul Salam Tajudeen with the intent to commit felony.
He stated that “the offence contrary to and is punishable under section 411 of criminal code Cap 34 vol11 laws of Osun state of Nigeria, 2003”.
When his charge was read to him, he pleaded not guilty.
Saheed, had no legal practitioner .
Magistrate Opeyemi badmus stated that he would have granted him bail earlier but due to his behaviour the other day.
Badmus in his ruling, said committed the accused to bail to bail in the sum of N50,000 and one surety in like sum.
Badmus said that complainant must be in the court on the next adjourned date.
The case was adjourned to 19th of November, 2019.
