The Osun State police command said it has arrested two suspects in connection with the destruction of the Properties of a new generational bank, GTB In Osogbo Oof in osogbo, the Osun State capital.
The Osun State Police Public Relations Officers, Yemisi Opalola also said investigation were still on on the case.
She said, “two suspects have been arrested and further investigation is ongoing on the matter”
some aggrieved customers had reportedly engaged the staffs of the bank in a free for all over alleged extortion and subsequently damaged the properties of the bank’s branch at the power line area of osogbo.
Eyewitnesses the trouble started when customers complained of extortion by the security officers, alleging that the security men were demanding between N500 to N1000 from customers before allowing to enter into the banking hall.
It was gathered that it took the intervention of police officers who whisked away the accused bank officers before normalcy was restored.
