Uncertainty trailed the mega rally of the African Democratic Party (ADP), holding Saturday in Ilesha, as OwaObokun of Ijesaland, Oba Adekunle Aromolaran, refused the party the usage of Ereja Square for the flagoff of its governorship rally.
Though the party eventually settled for Ilesha Eid Praying Ground for the event, it however took extral efforts to pass information about change of venue to several members of the party.
A source within the party told our correspondent that “no reason was given, but we were just told that the venue would not be available. We have settled to Eid Playing Ground and our members have been informed of the change of venue.”
