The Chairman, Real Estate Developers Association on Nigeria, Osun state chapter, Omoluabi Victor Eniola-Mark, has stated that he has accepted responsibility to sanitise the association.
The Osun REDAN chairman disclosed this in a statement he personally signed and made available to the medium.
Eniola-Mark said that the association is all out to restore sanity in the real estate business and also ensure that members follow due process from the point of purchasing landed properties to building their choice structures in Osun and in Nigeria by extension.
“Our enemies as practitioners in this business remains the fraudsters around the corner who are hell bent on defrauding the unsuspecting members of the public and as a result tarnish the image of our real and responsible members whose diligence and uprightness remains watchword in the business of real estate.
“It is on this note, that I want to sound a note of warning to erring practitioners who by their actions have shown that they have rejected the call of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission that all practitioners should be identified with REDAN, with a view to track illegal funds in a section of the sector to have a rethink”, he siad.
He further explained that the first quarter of the first year of his administration might be an uneasy season for defaulters of this simple rule, as the drive to get rid of bad eggs in the real estate sector will be put at top gear.
“Once again we shall deploy our arsenals to ensuring that as Omoluabi we sanitize REDAN in this ‘Ipinle Omoluabi,” he concluded.
