The head of the cycles sector in the Osun Transport Management System, Ado-Igbona, has allegedly gone underground for the fear of being arrested after an encounter with the commissioner of police, Patrick Longe.
Ado Igbona according to eyewitnesses, was part of those protesting the Tribunal judgment which sacked the governor of the state, Ademola Adeleke, at the popular Igbona market.
The sources said the CP who was moving around the state to forestall the breakdown of law and order got to Igbona and saw that the road was blocked.
The sources said some police officers in the CP’s team came down from their vehicles and asked the protesters to clear the road but they refused.
“It was during this period that the Commissioner of Police came down and saw Ado-Igbona with arms.
“Upon citing the CP, Ado-Igbona fled the scene, and the other protesters also ran away”, the sources said.
Osun Daily gathered that since the incident, Ado Igbona had gone AWOL and he has not been seen in public since then.
The medium reliably gathered that the fear of the police arresting him was what made him go underground until the situation is calmed.
