Chairman of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Osun state chapter, Dr Tosin Odeyemi, has condoled with the chairman of the All Progressives Congress in the state, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, over the death of his mother, Alhaja Sinatu Awero Lawal.
In a release personally signed by Odeyemi, he described Alhaja Lawal as an industrious woman who stood as role model to many women in Ile-Ife and Osun in general.
According to him, losing a mother who loved her children and people around her unconditionally could be so painful, but urged Lawal to take solace in the beautiful memories his mother left behind.
“I want to offer you my sincere condolences on the demise of your precious mother. No doubt, she was a wonderful and typical ‘Abiamọ tootọ’ who placed the welfare of his children and those around her above personal interest.
“The ultimate joy in Mama Awero’s death is that she lived a life of dedication to God, she served God till her last breath at 90.
“I pray for you to find solace in the love and support of those around you, and may her soul rest in Aljanah Firdaus.
“I beseech you to take comfort in the beautiful memories and the everlasting love she bestowed upon every being that came across her while sojourning on earth, she will continually be remembered for a life well spent.
“I commiserate with Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, other members of Lawal family and the entire people of Ile-Ife. I pray that God will continue to look after everything mama left behind.”
