The expression of interest by political parties to participate in the forthcoming local government election in the State of Osun is slated to close on Friday.
According to the Chairman, Osun Independent Electoral Commission (OSIEC), Otunba Segun Oladitan, 13 political parties have so far registered their intention to vie for the election as at the time of filing this report.
The expression of interest was first extended after the first due date to allow more parties to contest the election.

Social Democratic Party,
African Action Congress,
New Nigeria Peoples Party
Allied Peoples Movement.
Peoples Redemption Party,
All Progressives Congress,
All Progressives Grand Alliance,
Peoples Democratic Party,
Zenith Labour Party
Action Democratic Party.
