Ahead of 2019 general elections, Ex Customs boss, Prince Francis Adenigba Fadahunshi has emerged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP’s) Senatorial candidate for Osun East.
Fadahunshi, who was the PDP candidate for the same office in 2015, contested for the ticket with ex Osun deputy governor, Erelu Olusola Obada.
While Fadahunshi got 541 votes, Erelu Olusola Obada, who was present at the venue of the primary, held at Charity Hotel, Osogbo, polled 461.
In his acceptance speech, Fadahunshi called on PDP faithful to see his victory as the victory for the people of Ife/Ijesa Senatorial District.
He also urged Erelu Obada to join hands with him to move the zone forward.
Fadahunshi also charged people of the zone to pray fervently and watch carefully that those he called “predators of the past” will not succeed this time around.
