Staff of Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs have been charged to be proactive in the discharge of their duties as Civil Servants in the State of Osun.
The New Coordinating Director, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr Ayobami Akinpelu made the charge while addressing the staff of the ministry at his inagural meeting at the Conference Hall of the ministry.
According to him the present administration led by Mr Gboyega Oyetola, has many good things to do for civil servants in the state, who at all times the engine room for any successful government.
The Coordinating Director stressed that it is important to reciprocate the gesture that the civil servants enjoy from the government.
Responding, the Director of Local Government and Inspectorate Service, Mr Kola Adedokun pledged on behalf of the ministry that the new Coordinating Director will get the maximum support of the ministry for good service delivery in order to achieve the vision of the present administration.
