Mr. Segun Olatoye, the Legal Adviser of Ifon-Orolu Progressive Union, the flagship body for all indigenes of Ifon-Osun, recently addressed journalists and cleared the controversy created by a statement credited to Chief Leke Ogunsola, an indigene of Ilobu, who had claimed that his town settled Ifon-Osun people at their present domain.
Olatoye, who was flanked by the Secretary of Ifon-Orolu Progressive Union Board of Trustees, Prince Jide Akinyooye, as well as, Olufon Chiefs, relied on several archieval materials and court pronouncements, insisting that Olufon owns the land current occupied by the Ilobu Community. Watch the video.
