Osun state chapter of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has announced the dissolution of its executives at Local Government levels in the state.
This, according to the release by the chairman and secretary of the party, Dr. Tosin Odeyemi and Comrade Adewumi Adegboyega, became necessary in order to re-invigorate and make the party stronger in the state.
The statement also said there was need to put people with fresh ideas at the helms of affairs of the party at local levels.
It further read in parts, “Elections have come and gone, before we know it, another four years is around the corner, therefore, we ned to start putting our efforts together in making our party becomes stronger.
“Aside that, one of our responsibilities is to put the present government in the state on their toes as a responsible opposition and we cant do this if we are not fully on ground.
“Therefore, we need to get things right on time, we want Osun people to see us as a party they can trust with power.
“As we dissolve our executives at the local governments, we are also set to swear in caretaker committee to run the affairs of the party, as there should no be any vacuum.”
