The Senator representing Osun West, Adelere Oriolowo, on Thursday, said the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the forthcoming general election, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu was the only one who can deliver Nigerians from the lingering fuel and naira crisis facing the country.
Speaking at the official flag-off of the APC National and State Assembly candidates for Osun West Senatorial District, Oriolowo said the true change Nigerians desired will come if Tinubu is elected.
According to him, Tinubu is the most qualified among the presidential candidates, adding that he is someone who believes in one Nigeria.
He said; “Asiwaju is the only hope of all the people in this country. Anybody that knows Tinubu knows that he is a leader who invests in the development of mankind and infrastructure.
“Among all the presidential candidates, he is the only one who can deliver Nigerians from all the issues and naira and fuel crisis we are facing now. This is not about him being a Yoruba man. He is capable and he believes in one Nigeria.
“I’m very sure that voting him in implies that Nigerians will have a true and better change. We should all make sure he wins the election, so that we can see the true change in Nigeria”.
The lawmaker appealed to those who are yet to collect their permanent voter’s card to do so to cast their votes for all APC candidates in the coming election.
“I want to implore those who are yet to collect their Permanent Voters Card, PVC, to do so. I also want to urge the INEC to find a way to get the PVCs across to everybody. They should make it more simpler for the people”.
