A National Diploma 2 Mass Communication student of Westland Polytechnic, Ilobu, Osun State, Qudus Victor Morubo, who was reported missing, has been found in Kano State.
Morubo, left Lagos on Thursday, January 12, 2023, telling those at home he was going back to school but he didn’t get to his destination.
Speaking in an audio clip with Qudus father, a man who identified himself as the deputy president of Yoruba community in Kano State, said the student was in Kano.
He said Qudus told the community he came to Kano to hustle a situation that prompted him to call the father.
The father in the audio clip however appealed to the man to convince Qudus to come back home and finish his studies.
Also, Qudus in the audio clip apologised for his actions and promised to go back home.
“I’m the deputy chairman of yoruba community in Kano State. Qudus came to one of our community churches in Kano and told us he is a photographer and came to Kano to hustle.
Qudus father: “He is undergoing his National Diploma program at a polytechnic and he was supposed to resume back at school on the 20th but surprisingly, he decided to go back last week Thursday without my knowledge.
Qudus said: “I’m in Kano State. I’m very sorry for making you go through all this stress and I want you to forgive me. I promise to go back to school”.
