Olaniyi Saheed was arraigned before an Osun state magistrate sitting in Oshogbo for allegedly stealing a grinding machine.
Olaniyi was arraigned on one count bordering on theft.
The police prosecutor, Rasak Olayiwola said that on the 22nd of October, 2019 at about 12:02pm, at constain area of Oshogbo, Olaniyi stole a grinding machine valued N20,000.
He stated that “the offences is contrary to and is punishable under section 390(9) of criminal code Cap 34 vol11 laws of Osun state of Nigeria, 2002”.
The 40-year-old accused pleaded guilty to the charges.
The defence counsel, Okobe Najite applied for bail on behalf of his client in the most liberal term which was not opposed by the prosecutor.
Magistrate Adebola Ajanaku in her ruling, grant the bail application on the terms of N20,000 and one surety in like sum.
