Addressing newsmen in Osogbo on Thursday after a stakeholders meeting, the National president of the association, Solomon Onilede said they would visit some prominent traditional rulers in Osun and Oyo states to get them involved in resolving ownership crisis rocking the institution .
He also called on the two states house of assemblies to legislate on the monthly subventions to aid the smooth running of the institution.
Onilede warned groups organising press conferences to their selfish benefits to refrain from such act or have the association to contend with.
He said “We as Alumni of Ladoke Akintola University frowned at an assemblage of unknown persons posing as concerned Alumni, we state clearly that there is nothing like concerned Alumni.
” No individual or group of people can be concerned than us. However any individual or group of people who wants to benefit from the crisis by toiling with the future of over 30,000 Ladokites through frivolous press conference, protests and agitations that is calpabe of truncating the peaceful resolutions of the crisis will have the Alumni association to contend with.
“We condemn in totality the act of impersonation ,gross irresponsibility and indiscipline exhibited by some faceless groups.”
