Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde has vowed to “break toes” that stand on his way to make progress happen in the State.
Engineer Makinde asked the people of the state to hold him accountable for decisions taken by his administration.
The pacesetter state governor stated this at an Interfaith prayer organised to usher-in his administration at the secretariat.
In her speech, the Head of Service Mrs Amidat Ayoola tasked the governor to create an enabling environment for workers to discharge their duties.
While lamenting that the Civil service is grossly understaffed, the Head of Service called for both financial and non-financial incentives to increase efficiency of State workers.
