The staff of Westland polytechnic, Ilobu, Osun State on Wednesday, shines as they won the novelty match that was staged between the school management and the staff of its sister school Crestfield College of education, Erin-Osun, Osun State.
The match which was in commemoration of the celebration of Jersey day during the Final Year Brethren week was held at Crestfeild.
The match which ended 3:2 in favor of Westland saw the opening goal from one of the Westland staff in the first half, with the two institutions scoring two goals each in the second half.
The event was closed with a match by the finalist between the science and non-science departments of Westland polytechnic which ends in a goalless draw and was judged by a penalty shootout, won by the nonscience department
