President Bola Tinubu has reportedly directed the Ondo State House of Assembly, to transfer power to deputy governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
There have been calls from some sections in Ondo State for power to be transferred to the deputy governor due to the health of Akeredolu.
Tinubu according to a report from The Nation, gave the directive at a meeting he summoned to resolve the leadership crisis in Ondo on Monday
The President emphasized that this transfer should be conducted without any conditions, as it aligns with the “Doctrine of Necessity.”
The report stated that the transfer of power will be done by electronic signature (e-signature).
