The cries of Osun people have reached a fever pitch. The politicization of local government allocation has become a cancer, eating deep into the fabric of our democracy. It’s high time President Bola Tinubu intervened, upholding his commitment to grassroots governance.

The Osun State Independent Electoral Commission conducted local government elections, affirmed by relevant court judgments. This democratic exercise must be respected. The people’s mandate should not be hijacked by partisan interests.

The clock is ticking. Enough is enough. We demand fairness, equity, and justice. The Osun people’s voices must be heard.

The protracted crisis surrounding Osun State’s local government allocation has inflicted significant losses on the people. Withholding of funds by the Federal Government through the Central Bank of Nigeria has crippled grassroots development, stifling progress and prosperity.

The perceived partisanship of the Attorney General of the Federation has fueled controversy, eroding trust in institutions. Misinterpretation and disobedience of court decisions by stakeholders have exacerbated the impasse, undermining the rule of law.

The danger lies in:
– Prolonged suffering for innocent citizens
– Stunted development and economic growth
– Erosion of trust in government institutions
– Potential for social unrest and instability

It’s imperative that stakeholders prioritize the welfare of Osun people, adhering to court decisions and upholding the principles of federalism. A swift resolution is crucial to restore stability and facilitate progress.

The Federal Government must ensure timely allocation of funds, respecting the autonomy of local governments. Let’s put an end to this protracted crisis and pave the way for Osun State’s development and prosperity.

Let President Tinubu’s intervention restore sanity, promoting good governance and development in Osun’s 30 local governments. The future of our grassroots depends on it. President Tinubu’s administration emphasizes transparency and accountability. We urge him to ensure Osun’s local government allocations serve the people, not political cronies.

We await your decisive action, Mr. President. We are urging Your Excellency not to disappoint Osun people. The ongoing political diplomacy aimed at frustrating Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration is palpable.

Osun people support good governance, not based on party affiliation, but on merit. Governor Adeleke’s administration has shown commitment to progress and development.

We implore President Tinubu to prioritize the welfare of Osun people and allow Governor Adeleke’s administration to thrive. Osun people’s trust in your leadership is on the line.

Let’s put Osun’s progress above partisan interests. Good governance, not politics, should guide your decisions.
