The Federal Lawmaker Representing Lagelu/Akinyele, Federal Constituency, Hon Temitope Olatoye popularly called Sugar is Dead
He died at the intensive care unit of the University College Hospital, Ibadan where he was receiving treatment after he was shot in the afternoon on Saturday.
Hon Honourable Olatoye was shot by unknown gunmen and was rushed to UCH.
The deceased lawmaker was elected into the House of Assembly in 2011 and moved to National Assembly in 2015 on the platform of APC.
He left APC last year after irreconcilable issues within his former party and moved to Action Democratic Party (ADP) to seek election into the Senate to represent Oyo Central Senatorial District in the General elections held two weeks ago but he lost
Honourable Sugar was the Chairman, House Commitee on Urban and Regional Planning
Honourable Olatoye died at 46.
