Kano State House of Assembly has invited Governor Umar Ganduje over the allegations that he took kickback from some contractors.
It would be recalled that the publisher of Daily Nigerian online paper, Mr. Jafar Jafar, whose medium first reported the scandal, last week appeared before the lawmakers to defend the report on the incident and the video released by the medium.
The initial information emanating from the assembly men suggested Governor Ganduje may be left off the hook.
However, the release of another video, showing him collecting dollar believed to be kickback from contractors handling some projects for Kano state on Wednesday, may have sank him deeper into the mess.
