A high court sitting in ilesa has restrained Chief Adesoji Adebowale from parading himself as the Lumobi of Imobi ijesa.
Filling the application for the interim injunction against chief Adebowale, counsel to the complaint, Oba Adetayo Haastrup, Barrister Olutunde Abegunde said the prayer became necessary following the alleged attack on people of the community on Friday last week by the defendant .
Granting the interim injuction, Justice D. O Afolabi adjourned the case to November 15, 2018 for hearing on
motion of service.
Chief Samuel Adesoji Adebowale, allegedly went to forcefully install himself as Lumobi last week Friday and directed his thugs to unleash terror on the kingmakers who resisted his action.
The kingmakers insisted that the current king, Oba Haastrup was duly installed on may 16, 2016 having satisfy all traditional requirements.
