The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs, Prince Adebayo Adeleke,has charged the Management and staff of the ministry to be more dedicated and imbibe omoluabi culture while discharging their official duties.
The newly appointed commissioner gave the charge during the maiden meeting held with the management team of the ministry in his office.
According to him, the ministry is the face of government which needs a lot of proactive approaches and innovative ideas that will move the state forward.
He stressed that the ministry at the state and local government level need to work together as a team so that they can set a goal and achieve Mr governor’s action plan.
The prince of Iree reiterated the efforts of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, who is ready to make life meaningful to the populace in the state.
Also speaking, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs ,Hon. Rasak Adeosun,disclosed that the system needs re-engineering while Staffers should be partners in progress, adding that Mr Governor’s agenda must come to reality with the support of career officers.
Responding, the Coordinating Director of the ministry, Mr Ayobami Akinpelu,assured the duo at helm of affairs of the ministry that they are ready to key into the developmental agenda of Mr Governor, saying the unflinching support for present administration will not be jeorpadized while the ministry will leave no stone on turn in its operations.
Highlight of the occasion was the visit round the various departments of the ministry.
