Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke on Monday, suspended the rector of Osun State Polytechnic Iree, Dr. T.A Odetayo.
This was as the Governor announced Mr Alabi Kehinde Adeyemi as the new acting rector of the institution.
The suspension and appointment were contained in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, M.A.K Jimoh.
According to the statement, Dr Odetayo was suspended following allegations of financial recklessness, corruption, misappropriation of funds and abuse of office.
