The Minority Leader in Osun State House of Assembly, Mr. Akinwole Akinwale has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress.
Sources said Akinwale pledged his allegiance to APC on Friday during a visit to Senator Iyiola Omisore in his Ile Ife residence.
The lawmaker representing Ife East State Constituency was elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party in 2015.
Akinwale’s defection to APC has left PDP with only one member in a 26-member parliament.
