Self-leadership and discipline have been  described as roadmaps to personal development and improvement which enable efficient service delivery.

The Chairman, Local Government Service Commission, Elder Tunde Adedeji disclosed this while giving his remarks at the annual Inter-Religious Service Programme to herald the beginning of the year 2020 work for staff of local government councils in the state, held at the Multipurpose Hall, Local Government Service Commission government Secretariat, Abere.

Elder Adedeji appreciated all staff of the local government councils for the ultimate cooperation they displayed  last year.

While admonishing them that discipline should be their watchword in discharging their responsibilities in this new decade, he said that the commission will be taking critical steps to enforce discipline to improve productivity in the workforce of the local government councils.

The Chairman who had earlier expressed his gratitude to the Almighty for countless kindness and goodness showed to the commission and current government of the State of Osun, further recounted the successes recorded in the activities and engagements that were carried out in the commission last year.
