A Federal Commissioner with Revenue Mobilization commission in Abuja, Pharm. Gboyega Oladele (Jogbodo) has felicitated with Christians in the country on the celebration of Christmas.
Jogbodo who was a former SA on public health to Ọgbẹni Rauf aregbesola between 2012 and 2014 urged Christians to always imbibe the essence of Christmas which is premised on love.
He called on Christians to ensure they exhibit the kind of love Christ had for them to their fellow citizens and the country at large, adding that this would make the country a desirable place to live.
He however urged Nigerians to go about the celebration with caution , adding that the corona virus was still much on.
Jogbodo said, ” Christmas is not just to celebrate but to know how loving he his towards us for coming into the world for our salvation.
We must also not forget to exhibit this kind of love to our country , state and fellow citizens. with this , the nation would be a desirable place for everyone.
while we celebrate we should also remember to extend our love to those who do not have as this year have been tough for many.
Also, we should not loose guard while celebrating. the pandemic that has been ravaging the whole world has refused to go. we can’t afford to have another lockdown, that is why we must take responsibilities for our lives.”
