The Osun State command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has apprehended two suspects for allegedly vandalising a school for children with special needs located at Enu-Odi, Ilesa, Osun State.
The suspects whose names were given as Obembe and Ogunmokun, according to a statement by the spokesperson for the command, Kehinde Adeleke, were arrested on Friday, January 30, 2026.
They were apprehended while removing electrical installations, ceiling fans and other valuables from the school premises.

The statement noted that the suspects, in their confessional statements, admitted to vandalising the school.
Osun NSCDC Commandant, Igbalawole Sotiyo, assured members of the public that the suspects would be prosecuted accordingly to serve as a deterrent to others who engage in the destruction of government property.
