The Osun State Independent Unbonded Contributory Pensioners have stated that the claim by the state Commissioner for Information, Barrister Kolapo Alimi, that the present administration has cleared all outstanding bonds and half salary arrears is untrue.

The pensioners stated this in a communiqué issued on Thursday and signed by the state chairman, Comrade Moses Fayemi
and Secretary, Mrs A.B. Sule

The communique also stated that one Alhaji Alabi Ayinde had been disowned as the official representative of the group for lack of trusts, transparent and honestly.

The group urged the state government to prioritise their well-being and release funds to clear their Bonds from 2017 to 2025.

The communiqué read in part, “Since Alhaji Ayinde Toyin Alabi, had declared himself as the self-acclaimed mouthpiece of the present Osun State Govt and had been busying himself, prop agating the the activities of Gov Ademola Adeleke, 44/7, instead of representing the terrible interests of the Unbondeds, for the prompt payments of our Bonds, 2017-2025, more than Eight Years, now, we have unanimously declared that Alhaji Ayinde, had been disowned and disregarded as our Coordinator or our official Representative, for lack of trust, transparency, honestly and unflinching reliability.

“We are hereby informing the whole world, starting from Osun State, that we shall now be championing our own plights to fast-track the payments of Bonds,2017-2025, by the Osun State Govt.

“We also want to make it clear to the General public that, contrary to the false claims of Osun State Commissioner for Information, Barrister Kolapo Alimi, on a Yoruba Socio- political program on Wednesday,10-12-2025, that Osun State Govt had cleared all our outstanding Bonds, 2017-2025, and half salary arrears, Osun state government only made some partial payments, more three Years in Service.

“Putting records straight without mincing words, Osun State Govt, has been releasing our bonds since 2023, in piecemeal. Just twice in 2024, (#4.9b), first tranche and (#3.3b), second tranche.

“This 2025, Osun State Govt, had only released Bonds, just once, about (#4b) or thereabout, all of which did not capture a reasonable number of the beneficiaries, still awaiting, since 2017.
Our CPS members are still in September 2017, spreading to December 2025.

“Our Secondary Schools are presently in July 2020, spreading to 2025.
Twenty-eight (28) half salary arrears had been cleared for the unbondeds, full of complaints and shortcomings, while the bondeds are yet to receive up to sixteen months’ half salary arrears, with visible records available.
