The Osun State chairman of New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Dr Tosin Odeyemi has said governor Ademola Adeleke, is being blindfolded to believing his party is still relevant among the populace.
Odeyemi said the mass exodus being experienced in Osun PDP presently is unprecedented, adding that the present administration has not done enough for the people.
He noted that it is too early for a ruling party to be witnessing such movements but affirmed it is a good omen for the people of the state as their day of freedom from parochial government is near.

He said other political parties are presently harvesting from those leaving PDP, adding that majority of those staying behind will even work against the PDP in the next governorship election.
He added, ‘I was surprised seeing PDP members in the state running helter skelter for endorsement after the defection of Hon. Oluwole Oke, who they once described as a ‘paper weight’ politicians.
‘Many known PDP foot soldiers in Oriade and Obokun federal constituency are moving out gradually. Otunba Olujobi Ajibola is one of their financiers in the area but surprisingly he resigned recently.
‘The fact remains that any party that has the likes of Otunba Olujobi Ajibola as its member has won a grassroot mobilizer.
‘I’m very sure the arrogance in Osun PDP members will make them ignore these red flags but I am happy to inform you that many of them are in talks with NNPP to join us as the door of our party is open for people of good virtues who are ready to work with us in order to restore the state’s lost glory”
