One of the aspirants contesting to represent Olaoluwa state constituency under the All Progressives Congress, Engr. Saheed Soladoye Ganiyu has called on the people to vote massively for Mr Gboyega Oyetola of the APC in the September 22 gubernatorial elections.
Engr. Ganiyu made the call in Iwo while speaking with newsmen at the APC mega rally in continuation of the preparation towards the forthcoming governorship polls in Osun.
He described the APC as the only party which means well for the masses of Osun, while describing Mr Gboyega Oyetola as a perfect gentleman who knows the direction where Osun needs to head towards for continued growth and development.
The Obamoro-born politician called on residents of Osun to be careful in their choice of who succeeds Governor Rauf Aregbesola, stressing that the outgoing governor has turned around the fortunes of Osun to the extent that a mediocre can no longer govern the state.
The COREN certified engineer said if the people of Osun wants the infrastructural developments witnessed in Osun to continue a vote for the APC is the only way to go, while assuring the people of Iwo and environs of the attention of Mr Gboyega Oyetola if voted in as the next governor of Osun.
According to him, “our state has been developed by the outgoing administration of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola to the extent that a mediocre can no longer govern this state. We need someone who has wisdom and knowledge to further drive the development of Osun forward.
“Mr Gboyega Oyetola has been the chief of staff for the past eight years, he knows everything about the affairs of Osun and he will be in a better position to take over from Aregbesola for the good work in Osun to continue.
“APC is the only party that thinks about development and growth all the time, the progressives party is the only party that means well for the masses, I urge the people of Osun to vote wisely on September 22 for the APC.
“we can not afford to get it wrong, we must not allow looters back into governance in Osun, Aregbesola has raised the bar of governance and we must not allow people who are bereft of ideas to draw us backwards as a people.
“we should vote for continuity, we should vote for progress, we should vote for the APC and Mr Gboyega Oyetola,”Ganiyu stressed.
