The Coordinating Director, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr Ayobami Akinpelu, has charged Council Managers in the state to be more dedicated to duties in their various councils.
Mr Akinpelu gave the charge while during his maiden meeting with Council Managers across the state.
According to him, Council Managers are the engine room for government at the grassroots level, and therefore they should approach the enormous task before them with deserved seriousness.
The Coordinating Director who described the governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola as a cool-headed, said the governor has a track record in the private sector and would surely transform the state.
Akinpelu, therefore, implored members of the public to pay their taxes, rate and others, so as to enable the government to have enough resources for projects that will be beneficial to people of the state.
